The night climb in mountaineering is exciting yet terrifying, exhilarating yet loathed.  It's hard to comment objectively before the climb.  You want to survive and that is always a question.  This painting depicts a summit push from the moment one sets on the trail in the dark, with headlamps blazing.  Mind focused on getting into a rhythm to get the work done.  This painting will be framed by the artist.
